Have you ever heard about Physicians Formula? This is a drugstore makeup brand that I only knew about last year; I don't know how long it has been available in stores. You can find the products at Walmart, Target, CVS or Walgreen. Compared to other drugstore brands, Physicians Formula is a little more expensive. I own only 3 of their products and have very good experiences.
- Eye Booster 2-in-1 Last Boosting Eyeliner + Serum
When I first used this pen eyeliner, there was only one thing in my head "I FOUND IT!!!". The tip is not too firm not too soft and very easy to control, especially when you want to make a wing. The line can be thin or built to thick. The most value it gives you is being super waterproof, no smudging or disappearing even on my oily lids. I've been trying a lot of eyeliners (pen, gel, pencil, liquid, ...) and nothing stays on my oily lids. Want to erase it with water? No way you can do so without makeup removal! About the lash boosting effect, I'm not very sure because I haven't seen any improvement on my lashes. I have very short Asian eyelashes, maybe I have to use it more often in a long time to see the difference. I will continue to buy this eyeliner forever unless they discontinue it (please don't!!!).
Personal Rating:
- Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls (#Translucent Pearl) and Mineral Glow Pearls Blush
Brush included underneath |
These are highlighter and blush that create a natural glow on your face.
Glow Pearls:
I bought the highlighter in shade Translucent Pearl used for lighter skin color. This highlighter is very beautiful; however, the lasting power is not very strong. I don't know if it is because I use only BB cream as my foundation and don't use any primer, or because highlighting powder doesn't last as long as liquid highlighter
Glow Pearls Blush:
When I use this blush, I feel like I don't really need the highlighter above. It's just quick and easy: blush + natural glow at the same time. It is hard to know if this blush stays longer than the highlighter because my cheeks always turn pink naturally, so I can't tell if the pink color on my cheeks is the blush or just my skin!
This is me using the pen eyeliner to create very thin lines. Pardon my weird pajamas, I took the photo before changing to go out.
The bottom line is I like all of these products. Hope you like the review!
Now I'm certainly going to buy PF products very soon! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for leaving a comment! I love the above items. Other PF products which I haven't tried look very cute too! You can visit their website and figure out more ;)
